Kostas Zafiris

Kostas Zafiris has extensive experience in IT operations and security within the banking sector, having worked at Eurobank since October 2001, where roles include Group IT Operations & Infrastructure Head, overseeing IT operations and infrastructure across multiple countries with a budget of 25 million euros, and Group IT Operations & Data Centers Director, responsible for data center management and IT services across various Eurobank entities. Previously, Kostas served as General Manager of ERB IT Shared Services S.A., managing regional data center operations, and as IT Security Manager, focusing on information security management systems and compliance with ISO27001 standards. Prior experience includes roles as an IT Security Consultant at Pegasus Interactive and SPACE HELLAS S.A., where Kostas contributed to the implementation of IT security solutions. Kostas holds an MSc in Information Security from Royal Holloway, University of London, an MSc in Computer Networks & Communications from the University of Westminster, and a BSc in Electronics Engineering from Technologiko Ekpaideutiko Idrima, Athinas.
