Brett Lancaster

Brett Lancaster is an accomplished leader in IT and cybersecurity, currently serving as the Global Head of IT and Cyber Risk at Euroclear since July 2021, where responsibilities include managing IT and cyber risk across global business units and implementing a structured risk control framework. Prior to Euroclear, Brett held significant roles at SWIFT from August 2010 to June 2021, including Managing Director and Global Head of Customer Security, where Brett was instrumental in founding the Customer Security Programme to enhance cybersecurity within the financial services ecosystem. Earlier experience includes leadership positions at The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation and Accenture, where Brett focused on strategic development, mergers and acquisitions, and operational transformation for major financial institutions. Brett holds a First Class Honours degree in Electronic Engineering from Loughborough University.
