Bruno Christiaen

Bruno Christiaen is an experienced Systems Architect currently employed at EUROCONTROL since October 2023. Previously, Bruno held various roles at Agilent Technologies from May 2015 to April 2023, culminating as Director of Software R&D, where responsibilities included leading a diverse team focused on the R&D of Alissa SaaS applications for tertiary DNA analysis and advancing software architecture and practices. Prior positions at Agilent included Software Development Manager and Team Lead Software Development, emphasizing the development of innovative genetic analysis applications. Bruno's earlier career features roles as Senior Software Engineer at Cartagenia and UZ Leuven, where work centered on cloud-based applications and EHR systems, as well as extensive experience in project management and software development during a 12-year tenure at Luciad. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from KU Leuven.
