Ray Malanaphy

Ray Malanaphy serves as the Head of Workforce Planning and Talent Acquisition Unit at EUROCONTROL since May 2020, following a role as Recruitment and Talent Acquisition Manager. Prior experience includes serving as Transport Attaché - Aviation at the Permanent Representation of Ireland to the European Union and as Policy Officer at the European Commission's DG MOVE. Malanaphy's career in the public sector began at the Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport, where responsibilities included heading the Road Transport Operator Licensing Unit. Previous roles also include Coastal Unit Sector Manager at the Irish Coast Guard and Military Career Planning Officer in the Defence Forces of Ireland. Ray Malanaphy holds an MSc in Programme and Project Management from the University of Limerick and several additional qualifications in human resource strategies, employment law, and leadership and management from various esteemed institutions.
