Ross Walton

Ross Walton has extensive experience in governance, risk management, and compliance, currently serving as Principal Advisor and Head of Accounting & Treasury at EUROCONTROL since June 1997. Roles include advising on governance and internal control as Principal Audit Expert and earlier as Audit Expert in the Internal Audit Unit. Previously, Ross worked as an Internal Auditor for SESAR Joint Undertaking, providing independent assessments of management systems. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Auditor at the UK National Audit Office and as an Auditor at the European Court of Auditors, where involvement in financial audits and learning French occurred. Educational qualifications include a CPFA from CIPFA Education and Training Centre, a B.Sc.(Hons) in Science & Technology Policy from Middlesex University, and A levels from King James's School.
