Vasileios Friligkos

Vasileios Friligkos is a Cyber Security Expert at EUROCONTROL since January 2017, specializing in cyber threat intelligence, incident response, digital forensics, intrusion detection, and security assessment within the European ATM-CERT. Prior to this role, Vasileios served as an IT Security Advisor at BNP Paribas Fortis from September 2014 to December 2016, focusing on vulnerability and threat management, security incident management, and forensics. Vasileios began the career as an IT Security Consultant at Intrinsec from January 2012 to August 2014, working as a security analyst at a Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) Security Operation Center. Vasileios completed military service in the Greek Naval Forces supporting communications and networks from November 2008 to November 2009. Academically, Vasileios holds a Master's Degree in Secure and Dependable Computer Systems from Chalmers University of Technology (2010-2012) and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon (2003-2009).
