Makoto Imatachi

Makoto Imatachi has a strong background in business development and leadership roles in the pharmaceutical industry. They started their career in 1993 at CBC Co., Ltd., where they worked as a Client Service in the International Safety Evaluation Group until 1995. In 1996, they joined Huntingdon Life Sciences Ltd., initially as a Business Development professional and later promoted to Manager of Business Development for Pharmaceuticals. After working at Huntingdon Life Sciences for over 19 years, Makoto Imatachi moved to Envigo +++, where they served as the Asia-Pacific Regional Director for Pharmaceuticals from 2015 to 2019. Following that, they joined Covance as a Senior Business Development Director in 2019 and later joined Eurofins Discovery in 2020 as the Regional Director of Business Development for Japan/Korea.

Makoto Imatachi pursued their education from 1988 to 1993 at Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology. During this period, they successfully completed their Bachelor of Agriculture degree with a specialization in Ecology.
