Dr. Melanie Kerst

Dr. Melanie Kerst has a diverse and extensive work experience in various leadership and managerial roles. Dr. Melanie is currently working at Eurofins Genomics as the Head of Quality. Prior to that, they held the position of Managing Director at HWI group. At HWI group, they had responsibilities such as strategic planning, financial management, and team leadership, including the successful introduction of new systems and the supervision of audits and inspections. Dr. Melanie also played a key role in business development and customer acquisition. Earlier in their career, Dr. Kerst worked at PHAST Development GmbH & Co. KG as a Business Unit Manager and at LAT GmbH Dr. Tittel - Institut für Pharmaanalytik as a Scientific Project Manager. Dr. Melanie began their career as a Project Manager at the Bavarian Environmental Protection Agency. Throughout their career, Dr. Melanie Kerst has demonstrated their expertise in pharma/biotech/lifesciences, GMP, CMC, and quality management.

Dr. Melanie Kerst obtained a Diplom degree in Chemistry from the University of Münster from 1991 to 1997. Dr. Melanie then pursued further education and completed their Dr. rer. nat. (PhD) in Analytical Chemistry at the University of Münster from 1998 to 2001.
