Michelle Altrich

Michelle Altrich has a diverse work experience in the clinical diagnostics field. Michelle is currently serving as the President at Viracor Eurofins Clinical Diagnostics since April 2020. Previously, they held the position of Vice President and Clinical Laboratory Director at Viracor-IBT Laboratories from May 2013 to October 2014. Before that, they were the Clinical Laboratory Director at the same company from August 2009 to May 2013. Prior to joining Viracor-IBT Laboratories, they worked at IBT Laboratories as the Director of New Test Development from 2008 to 2009, Associate Director of Immunology from 2007 to 2008, and Senior Scientist from 2006 to 2007. Michelle began their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Virginia Health System from October 2001 to March 2006.

Michelle Altrich completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Chemistry, and Math at the University of Mary from 1992 to 1996. Michelle then pursued further education at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where they obtained their PhD in Immunology from 1996 to 2001.
