Chad Smith

Chad Smith is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in quality assurance and safety within the food and feed industries. Currently serving as the Director of Quality Assurance & Safety for North America Food & Feed at Eurofins Group since October 2014, Smith previously held roles such as Director of Operations, Quality Systems & Training at IEH Inc., where responsibilities included developing quality policies for over 60 laboratories and leading numerous internal audits for compliance. Earlier experience includes serving as Superintendent for Food Safety at ConAgra Foods, where significant pathogen reduction strategies were implemented, and as Laboratory Manager at IEH, where innovative statistical applications were developed for E. coli risk mitigation. Smith's career began as a Lab Technician at Chief Ethanol Fuels, followed by earning a MA in Management & Leadership from Doane University and a BS in Biology from the University of Nebraska at Kearney.
