Girts Eglajs

Girts Eglajs is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, currently serving as Director of Group M&A at Eurofins since 2013, overseeing global M&A activities for a leading laboratory testing and life sciences services provider. With a strong focus on the Life Sciences, Healthcare, and TIC sectors, Girts has successfully advised on over 100 M&A and strategic partnership transactions, closing more than 40 business acquisitions. Prior experience includes roles as Associate Director in Group M&A and Private Equity at Trigon Capital and an Associate in M&A at SEB, where Girts participated in financial advisory and execution of cross-border transactions. Girts holds an MSc in Finance from London Business School and a BSc in Business and Economics from Rīgas Ekonomikas augstskola.
