Jorge Castro

Jorge Castro is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in managing global service desk operations and IT support functions. Currently serving as the Senior IT Global Service Desk Manager at Eurofins, Jorge has effectively overseen teams across Costa Rica, India, and Malaysia since June 2020, following a successful tenure as IT Manager at Intel Corporation from November 2006 to November 2019. Jorge has a proven track record in enhancing stakeholder communication, aligning teams with customer objectives, and adapting to changing business requirements. Prior experiences include roles at Ecodirecta S.A., Computacion Modular Avanzada (CMA), and Elvatron S.A., where Jorge contributed to technical support, system implementations, and staff training. Jorge holds an Engineer's degree in Computer and Information Sciences from Universidad Central de Costa Rica, earned between 2015 and 2017.
