Mirza Jahic

Mirza Jahic currently serves as Associate Director, In Vitro Pharmacology, Cross-functional Group Leader at Eurofins since September 2020, contributing to the advancement of potential drug candidates through state-of-the-art testing services. Prior to this role, Mirza was a Senior Scientist and Group/Program Lead in In Vitro Pharmacology at BioIVT, where innovative technologies for drug discovery and diagnostics were implemented. Mirza's experience also includes a decade at Optivia Biotechnology as Scientist III and Group Lead, focusing on DMPK and in vitro pharmacology. Additional roles at Maxygen and Genentech provided foundational experience in research and development in biotechnology. Mirza holds a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology from San José State University and has completed an Extension Program in Drug Discovery and Development at UC San Diego.
