Hans R. Kappacher

Hans R. Kappacher is a board member at Eurofunk. Previously, they worked as a government solutions consultant at Giesecke & Devrient from May 2014 to August 2017. In this role, they served as a project manager for the production facility for passports and national ID documents in Baghdad, Iraq. Hans was responsible for the contract preparation and negotiation with the Iraqi Joint Venture Partner, establishing the local Iraqi entity, definition and preparation of specification documents for the production facility, creation of an overall business-plan, recruitment of project key resources, selection and qualification of suppliers and service providers, extensive reporting, and development of a local security concept.

Prior to their work at Giesecke & Devrient, Hans R. Kappacher was involved in proposal management for electronic ID-card systems. In this role, they were responsible for the preparation of customer proposals, leading proposal teams, selection and coordination of business partners and suppliers, preparation of offer calculations and technical descriptions, ensuring adherence to eligibility criteria and compliance with tender requirements, and presentation of projects and offers to steering committees and management boards.

Hans R. Kappacher has a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal Higher Technical Institute for Electrical Engineering (HTL) - Innsbruck, Austria. Hans is also a PMP - Project Management Professional certified by the Project Management Institute PMI.
