Eleni Kouzoupi serves as the National Member for Cyprus at Eurojust since November 2020, where responsibilities include leading the Cyprus desk, facilitating mutual legal assistance, liaising with national and EU authorities, and participating in joint investigation teams. Prior to this role, Eleni held various influential positions within the Permanent Representation of Cyprus to the EU from 2003 to 2020, including JHA Counsellor and Legal Adviser, where significant contributions were made to negotiations on judicial cooperation and EU law. Eleni's legal career began as an Advocate and Law Officer, with a foundation in law education from institutions including the University of London and the University of Exeter, culminating in a diverse background in legislative drafting and international relations.
