Andrew Carey Vr

Andrew Carey VR has over two decades of experience in maritime operations and sound engineering. As the UKMCC N3 MTO SO2 with the Royal Navy since June 1998, Andrew has been pivotal in advising the UK Maritime Component Commander on merchant shipping incidents and operations across critical maritime regions, including the Gulf and the Indian Ocean. In addition, Andrew has built a robust freelance sound engineering career since 2018, working with prominent organizations such as Sky and NEP UK on notable events including the FIFA Women’s World Cup and COP26. Andrew holds a National Diploma in Theatre Sound Engineering and a SCOTEC Certification in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, enhancing expertise in both maritime safety and sound production.
