Javier Revuelta

Javier Revuelta has a diverse work experience in the engineering and rail industry. Javier began their career at DLR - Institut für Flugsystemtechnik as a Systems Engineer in 2005 and later joined Altran as a Landing Gear Systems Engineer. In 2008, they joined CAF as an Engineering Project Manager, where they led and coordinated various engineering areas for the design of railroad vehicles.

In 2013, Javier joined Harsco Rail Europe GmbH as the Head of Engineering, where they established and developed the Engineering Department, implemented engineering processes and tools, and played an active role in assessing potential collaborations, mergers, or acquisitions.

Javier returned to CAF in 2019 as the Director of Business Development for the RS Equipments & Components Business Unit, responsible for driving business development efforts.

Most recently, Javier is working at EuroMaint Rail AB as the Director of Operations, initially responsible for Components & Engineering and now overseeing Fleet City & Regional as well.

Javier Revuelta obtained their Executive MBA from IE Business School in the year 2016. Prior to that, from 2000 to 2006, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Industrial Engineering at the University of Navarra. In the year 2004 to 2005, they also studied Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering at Johannes Kepler Universität Linz.
