Jorge Vieira Silva

Jorge Vieira Silva, an Engineer with a degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from Universidade de Aveiro, possesses extensive experience in project management and cyber security. Currently, as the Infra Network & Security Projects Team Leader and Cyber Security Engineer and Project Manager at Euronext since October 2021, Jorge oversees significant cyber security initiatives for one of the largest Pan-European Exchanges. Previously, as a Cyber Security Senior Project Manager at S21sec, leadership was demonstrated in managing complex projects. Additionally, experience as an Associate Project Manager at Timwe Ventures involved comprehensive project oversight for an African telecom, while roles at PT Inovação included Project Manager for advanced Access Network products and Intelligent Network Support Engineer. Past contributions also include responsibilities as a Service Design Manager at Versão Integral and as a Researcher at Instituto de Telecomunicações. Jorge holds certifications in Project Management Professional (PMP) and ITIL.
