Pedro MacHete

Pedro Machete has extensive experience in the field of network and security infrastructure, currently serving as the Head of Network and Security Infrastructure as well as the Head of Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Architecture at Euronext since September 2016. Previously, Pedro held roles such as Infosec Architecture Manager and Network & Security Lead. Prior to Euronext, experience includes working as a Datacenter Network Architect at Portugal Telecom, leading the New Datacenter Network Architecture project, and as a Network Engineer at Novabase, specializing in InternetWorking Engineering. Early career positions include Network Security Engineer at IBS AB, IT Project Manager at Infineon Technologies, and Software Engineer at Cisco Systems USA. Pedro holds a degree in Software Engineering from Universidade do Porto and is Cisco CCNP certified.
