René van Vlerken

René van Vlerken serves as the CEO of Euronext Amsterdam NV and is a member of the Managing Board at Euronext NV since March 2017, overseeing primary markets across the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, and the CEE region. Additionally, René van Vlerken holds a position as a member of the Board of Directors at Stichting Capital Amsterdam, representing Euronext Amsterdam as a strategic partner. Prior to these roles, René van Vlerken amassed significant experience at Rabobank between February 2006 and December 2016 in various senior positions, including Head of Marketing & Communications and Head of Equity Syndicate. Earlier experience includes a tenure at ABN AMRO Bank from February 1996 to January 2006, where René van Vlerken served as Country Manager Benelux Marketing Services and held several senior roles in financial markets. Academic qualifications include studies at Hoge Hotelschool Maastricht, London Business School, and UBS/Utrecht Business School.
