Davida de Hond is an experienced professional in the cultural and heritage sectors, currently serving as a member of the selection committee for the Europa Nostra Awards focusing on citizens' engagement and awareness-raising since March 2022. In addition to this role, Davida is an advisor for visual arts and heritage at Mondriaan Fonds (January 2021 - January 2025) and operates independently through ViaDaVida since February 2013. Past positions include Head of Public and Program at Museum Arnhem (July 2021 - December 2024), member of the Cultural Plan 2021 - 2024 at Rotterdamse Raad voor Kunst en Cultuur (April 2018 - January 2022), and manager of partnerships and communities at Imagine Film Festival (January 2021 - August 2021). Davida has contributed to several cultural organizations and initiatives, notably serving on advisory committees and focusing on enhancing public engagement in culture. Educational qualifications include a master's degree in Museology and a bachelor's degree in Cultural Heritage from the Amsterdam University of the Arts.

EUROPA NOSTRA represents a rapidly growing citizens’ movement for the safeguarding of Europe’s cultural and natural heritage. Our pan-European network is composed of 250 member organisations (heritage associations and foundations with a combined membership of more than 5 million people), 150 associated organisations (governmental bodies, local authorities and corporations) and also 1500 individual members who directly support our mission.
