Mark Elliott

Mark Elliott has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries and roles. Mark is currently employed as the Chief Operating Officer at Europa Science Ltd since April 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Content at the same company starting from June 2022.

From April 2019 to May 2022, Mark worked at Key Publishing Limited as the Chief Content & Commercial Officer. In this role, they had the responsibility for all content and sales teams and the commercial performance of the core business.

Before joining Key Publishing Limited, Mark worked as a Freelance Writer & Consultant from May 2018 to April 2019.

From May 2014 to April 2018, Mark was a Borough Councillor at the Royal Borough of Greenwich.

From April 2013 to July 2017, Mark was the Publishing Director at Morris Visitor Publications UK. Mark managed the portfolio of Where London, IN London, and London Planner, overseeing all print and digital products.

In 2012, Mark held two positions. Mark worked as the Director of Development & Communications at MOLA (Museum of London Archaeology), where they were responsible for business development, marketing, and community archaeology projects. Additionally, they took on a Consultancy Project at the KT Wong Foundation, working on strategic briefs focusing on cross-cultural collaborations in the arts and education.

From August 2011 to February 2012, Mark worked at Time Out as the Cultural Development Director, driving a digitally-led cross-platform marketing partnerships strategy and managing the business's relationship with the London 2012 Olympic & Paralympic Games. Prior to this, they served as the Managing Director of Time Out's London magazine from January 2008 to July 2011.

In 2007, Mark worked on a publishing consultancy project for Closer, Heat, Heatworld.com, and Closerdiets.com at Emap Consumer Media.

Mark's career started in 2006 as the Publishing Director at Brooklands Group, where they worked until April 2007.

Mark Elliott attended Cranbrook School from 1981 to 1986. Following their time at Cranbrook School, they enrolled at the University of West London from 1986 to 1988, where they pursued a degree in Media and Business Studies, earning an HND in that field.
