Michael Hofstein

Michael Hofstein is a seasoned professional in the motion picture industry, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Industry Relations at South Georgia Studios since 2023. With extensive experience as a Producer at Triple Peak Resources, LLC since April 2014, Michael supports motion picture equipment sales and provides industry advisory services for various countries, including Hungary, Germany, France, the People's Republic of China, and the UK. Additionally, as a Writer/Producer at EuroPacific Films, LLC since April 2005, Michael produces motion pictures. A freelance Director of Photography since July 1977, Michael developed cinematography skills at Paramount Studios and 20th Century Fox, advancing from 2nd Assistant Camera to Director of Photography. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of Texas at Austin (1968-1972) and a Master of Arts in Cinema Studies from the Savannah College of Art and Design (2008-2013).
