Jackie van Doorn is a highly experienced project manager and events coordinator currently with the European Association for International Education since November 2018. Jackie played a crucial role in transitioning the organization to its first virtual conference during the COVID pandemic, developing a virtual platform that facilitated nearly 60 sessions with over 1,600 attendees. Jackie has extensive event planning experience, including coordinating the logistics for large conferences and implementing organizational tools to enhance remote collaboration. Previous roles include development and events positions at Washington Trails Association and the YWCA of Seattle, where Jackie successfully managed fundraising campaigns, donor engagement, and community events. Jackie holds a BA in History and French from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, complemented by studies at the Université de Provence.

The EAIE is the European centre for expertise, networking and resources in the internationalisation of higher education. We are a non-profit, member-led organisation serving individuals actively involved in the internationalisation of their institutions through a combination of training, conferences, research and knowledge acquisition and sharing. Our mission is to advance international higher education, create positive change and promote dynamic collaboration in Europe and beyond. The Annual EAIE Conference, the largest of its kind in Europe, attracts more than 5000 participants.
