Sabrina van Spijker has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Sabrina has been working at EAIE: European Association for International Education since 2015, starting as an Events Assistant and progressing to the roles of Events Coordinator, Senior Events Coordinator, and currently serving as the Team Lead Events. Prior to that, they worked as a Customer Service Representative at ECCO Shoes from 2013 to 2015. Sabrina also gained experience as a Marketing Intern at WYSE Travel Confederation, an Intern in the Sales and Communication department at Xindao, and an Intern in the European Affairs department at the Municipality of Bremerhaven. Additionally, Sabrina had a brief role as a Teaching Instructor at Hanzehogeschool Groningen, University of Applied Sciences.
Sabrina van Spijker has a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in European Studies from Hochschule Bremen - University of Applied Science, which they completed from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Humanitarian and Social Science with a focus on Sociology from Leipzig University, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. In 2010, they were an ERASMUS student at Universidad de Granada, studying Political Science and Sociology. Additionally, Sabrina has certifications in the Cambridge Advanced Certificate and TOEFL Proficiency Test in English.

The EAIE is the European centre for expertise, networking and resources in the internationalisation of higher education. We are a non-profit, member-led organisation serving individuals actively involved in the internationalisation of their institutions through a combination of training, conferences, research and knowledge acquisition and sharing. Our mission is to advance international higher education, create positive change and promote dynamic collaboration in Europe and beyond. The Annual EAIE Conference, the largest of its kind in Europe, attracts more than 5000 participants.
