Alex Moroz

Alex Moroz is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in the infrastructure sector. Currently serving as Senior Banker and Head of Infrastructure Equity at EBRD since March 2023, Alex focuses on direct investments in both green- and brown-field infrastructure assets across EBRD's operational regions. Before joining EBRD, Alex held the position of Managing Director at VTB Capital plc from December 2007 to March 2022, leading principal investments and capital raising advisory in emerging markets. Previous roles include Vice President at Royal Bank of Canada and Associate at Societe Generale, with early career experience as a Senior Consultant at Operis. Alex holds a PhD in Physics from the University of Cambridge and a Master's degree in Physics from Kharkov State University.
