Angela Sax

Angela Sax is an experienced finance and development professional currently serving as Director of the Regional Network for SME Finance and Development and Head of the Ukraine Hub at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) since April 2018. Prior to this role, Angela Sax held various positions at EBRD from May 2006 to January 2018, including Acting Head of Armenia and Senior Banker, where responsibilities encompassed leading operations, structuring investment projects, and engaging with stakeholders across public and private sectors. Angela Sax's earlier experience includes consultancy and managerial roles, such as a Consultant at Sibley International Inc. and Deputy Executive Director at the Armenian Tourism Development Agency. Academic qualifications include an MBA from Nottingham University Business School, a Senior Executive Leadership Certificate from Harvard University, and a BA in English Language from Yerevan University of Foreign Languages.
