Deniz Demirag

Deniz Demirag is an experienced analyst currently working at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in the Country & Financial Institutions Credit Risk division since July 2023. Previously, Deniz held the position of Research Analyst at Freshminds from December 2021 to January 2023, and worked in research and communications at Shabaka from April 2021 to November 2021. An internship at the London International Development Centre (LIDC) took place from January 2021 to May 2021. Academically, Deniz obtained a Master's degree in Environment and Developmental Studies from SOAS University of London in 2021, a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Waseda University in 2020, and a Bachelor of Science in Political Sciences and Economics from Università degli Studi di Milano in 2020, alongside completing a High School Diploma at the American Overseas School of Rome in 2017.
