Gary Mclean is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in sustainable capital markets, private equity, and financial management. Currently serving as Principal in the Sustainable Capital Markets and Sustainable Finance teams at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) since June 2012, Gary has played a crucial role in transforming capital markets and leading innovative sustainability investments. Prior to EBRD, Gary held significant positions at BNP Paribas, Standard Chartered Bank, and Deloitte, where responsibilities included managing private equity funds and establishing financial functions for startups. Academic credentials include an MBA from the University of Warwick, a Chartered Accountant designation, and engineering degrees from the University of Strathclyde and Queen's University.
