Marina Snaith has extensive work experience in various financial institutions. Marina started their career as a Senior Consultant at Ernst & Young's Transaction Support Team from August 2000 to February 2002. Marina then worked at The Royal Bank of Scotland as a Senior Corporate Manager in Specialised Lending Services from March 2002 to January 2007. Marina joined Glitnir bank in March 2007 as the Director of Debt Capital Markets and later as a Consultant to the Receivership Committee from November 2008 to December 2008. Marina then moved on to Standard Bank as the Director of Business Support & Recovery from February 2009 to January 2011. Since February 2011, Marina has been working at EBRD, where they held multiple positions including Senior Risk Officer, Associate Director from February 2011 to November 2019, Acting Adviser to Chief Risk Officer, Vice President Risk & Compliance from March 2020 to May 2020, and currently as the Lead Senior Risk Officer in Corporate Recovery.
Marina Snaith has pursued their education in a focused manner, with a particular emphasis on executive education. In 2020, they attended INSEAD, where they completed a program called "Leading For Results". Additionally, in 2018, they participated in the "Women Transforming Leadership" program at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. Marina's educational journey also includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from London Business School, which they obtained from 1998 to 2000, specializing in Business Administration and Management.
