Ruxandra Ionescu

Ruxandra Ionescu has extensive work experience in the legal field, with their most recent position being Principal Counsel at EBRD starting in November 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Ashurst from 2018 to 2022, first as an Associate and then as a Senior Associate. From 2014 to 2018, they were with EBRD, initially as an Associate in the Office of the General Counsel and later as a Senior Associate in Corporate Recovery. Before that, they worked at White & Case as an Associate from 2011 to 2013 and as a Trainee Attorney from 2008 to 2010. Ruxandra also had a summer internship at NNDKP in 2007 and started their career as a Junior Analyst at Osprey Partners from 2005 to 2007.

Ruxandra Ionescu obtained their LL.M in Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law from Columbia Law School in 2014. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Law at Universitatea Bucuresti - Facultatea de Drept from 2004 to 2008. Currently, they are pursuing a Law degree at the University of Bucharest, starting in 2020.
