Sandeep Chopra

Sandeep Chopra, FRM has extensive work experience in various roles related to financial markets, risk management, and business process coaching. Starting in 2000, Sandeep worked at Sterlite Technologies Ltd. as the Head of Market Risk and Back Office. Sandeep then joined BHP Billiton as a Risk Management Consultant in 2011 and later became a Business Process and Data Coach for CTRM. In 2013, Sandeep worked at Accenture as a CTRM Specialist before joining Trafigura as the Global Head of Derivatives Back Office in 2014. From 2016 to 2022, Sandeep worked at Standard Chartered Bank as a Senior Vice President and Product Owner for Financial Market Operations. Currently, Sandeep is a Principal Design & Transformation professional at EBRD, starting in 2022.

Sandeep Chopra, FRM, holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH) and a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology. In addition, Sandeep has obtained the certification of Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) from the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP).
