Sevi Simavi

Sevi Simavi is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in policy, partnerships, and financial inclusion. Currently serving as Associate Director at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development since August 2016, Simavi plays a key role in fostering strategic initiatives. As a Founding Trustee and Non-Executive Director at the Global Fund for Women UK since November 2017, leadership in promoting women's rights is prioritized. Additionally, Simavi has been a Fellow at the Disruptor Foundation since April 2015, contributing to the study of disruptive innovation. Previous experience includes Directorship at the Financial Inclusion Forum UK and serving as Chief Executive Officer of the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women. Simavi's career began at the IFC - World Bank Group, holding roles as Global Product Leader and Programme Manager from 2002 to 2013. Education includes a Master of Laws (LLM) from Georgetown University Law Center.
