Veronika Spacapan

Veronika Spacapan is an experienced finance professional with a background in investment advisory, banking, and international relations. Currently serving as Associate Director and Adviser to the VP Banking at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) since September 2011, Veronika has held several key roles, including Principal Banker for Energy Efficiency and Climate Change Finance and Financial Institutions. Previous experience includes working at Credit Suisse as an Investment Advisory professional, where Veronika produced tailored investment proposals and maintained client relations, and at the European Investment Bank, focusing on financial analysis and risk assessment for lending operations in Slovenia, Croatia, and the Western Balkans. This professional journey began with positions at ING Wholesale Banking, Bloomberg, and illycaffè, complemented by academic qualifications from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, Freie Universität Berlin, and University of Kent.
