José Manuel Campa

José Manuel Campa currently serves as Chairperson of the European Banking Authority since May 2019 and has been a Professor at IESE Business School since September 1999. Prior to these roles, José Manuel Campa was the Global Head of Regulatory Affairs at Banco Santander from May 2014 to March 2019 and held the position of Secretary of State at the Ministry of Economy and Finances from May 2009 to December 2011. Additionally, José Manuel Campa was an Economics Professor at NYU Stern School of Business from September 1991 to June 2000. José Manuel Campa holds a Doctor of Philosophy and a Master of Arts in Economics from Harvard University and a university degree in Economics and Law from Universidad de Oviedo.
