Pedro Dias has extensive experience in banking and legal affairs, currently serving as the Deputy Head of the Banking Conduct Supervision Department at Banco de Portugal since June 2011. Key roles at Banco de Portugal include leadership positions in regulation, legal affairs, and complaints handling. Additionally, Pedro Dias chairs the Sub-Group on Consumer Protection at the European Banking Authority and has held the position of Chair of the Standing Committee on Responsible Lending at FinCoNet. Prior legal experience includes roles as a legal assistant in various organizations and as a trainee lawyer at MACEDO VITORINO. Pedro Dias holds a degree in Law from NOVA School of Law and completed an Advanced Leadership Program at INDEG-ISCTE Executive Education.
