Arjan Bos

Arjan Bos has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Arjan began their career as a Programmer at TAS Top Talent B.V., where they received training in various programming languages. Arjan then worked as a data modeller for ABN AMRO, where they were responsible for capturing, analyzing, and modelling data requirements. Arjan later joined ING Nederland where they held multiple roles, including Senior Business Data Modeler and Senior Officer Data Management. In these positions, they were involved in setting up a new big data department, managing metadata governance, and ensuring the alignment of IT implementations with business information models. Arjan also worked as a Data Warehouse Consultant and Prototype Developer at ABN AMRO, where they played a key role in developing data models for the Basel II Credit Requirements Directive. Arjan also gained experience as a Data Architect at De Nederlandsche Bank, coordinating the modelling of Bank's Integrated Reporting Dictionary. Currently, Arjan Bos is employed as a Principal Economist Statistician and Co-ordinator for the Work Stream on Data Modeling at the European Central Bank, where they are responsible for designing the logical data model for Banks' Integrated Reporting Dictionary.

Arjan Bos has a strong education background in various fields. In 1988, they attended the University of Twente, where they studied Chemical Technology from 1988 to 1990. Arjan did not obtain a degree during this period. Arjan then pursued their Bachelor of Economics at Inholland University of Applied Sciences from 1991 to 1994. Their field of study was HEAO Bedrijfsinformatica.

Arjan went on to earn their MSc degree in Co-operative Computing from Middlesex University and CIBIT. Arjan studied at both institutions from 1997 to 2000. This provided him with a deeper understanding of Co-operative Computing.

In addition to their formal education, Arjan Bos also obtained certifications. In 2013, they received the Professional Scrum Product Owner 1 certification from Scrum.org. Two years later, in 2015, they obtained the Bankierseedakte certification from ING.
