Ixart Miquel-Flores

Ixart Miquel-Flores is a Banking Supervision Analyst at the European Central Bank since June 2016, specializing in IT and operational risk, market risk, and crisis management. This role includes conducting On-Site Inspections and assessments related to recovery and resolution planning. Ixart has also contributed to the DG Economics, focusing on monetary policy's impact on financial markets. In addition to the ECB role, Ixart is a member of the EBI Young Researchers Group at the European Banking Institute since June 2021. Previous experience includes working as a student at Deutsche Börse and an intern at GVC Gaesco. Currently pursuing a PhD in Finance at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, Ixart has also participated in visiting PhD programs at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and University of Virginia Darden School of Business. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Finance and a Bachelor of Business Administration.
