Olivier Feron

Olivier Feron is a seasoned expert in banking supervision with extensive experience in leading on-site inspections at large and medium-sized banks. Currently serving as Senior Team Lead in Banking Supervision at the European Central Bank since October 2024, Olivier specializes in business models, profitability, and the impact of digital transformation on supervised institutions. Previous roles include Head of Mission in Banking Supervision at both the Banque nationale de Belgique and the European Central Bank. Olivier's earlier career at BNP Paribas Fortis spanned various roles in operational risk management and risk control, contributing to the development of frameworks for risk measurement and management. Olivier holds a Master's degree in Applied Economics from UCL - IAG and a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Social and Political Sciences from UCLouvain Saint-Louis Bruxelles.
