Antonio Guarnieri

Antonio Guarnieri is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in oceanography and marine engineering. Currently serving as a Policy Officer at the European Commission since September 2024, Guarnieri has previously held positions such as Scientist - Oceanographer at the Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia from July 2019 to October 2024, focusing on ocean circulation modeling, coastal processes, and marine data analysis. Prior roles include Marine Engineer at DHI and Researcher at the Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia, where contributions included hydrodynamics modeling and the development of ocean forecasting systems.
