Carla Carvalho

Carla Carvalho is an experienced internal communication professional with a tenure at the European Commission since March 2014, currently serving as the Internal Communication & Intranet Team Leader. In this role, Carla leads a team to ensure effective communication of policy objectives and initiatives to staff, fostering advocacy and commitment. Previous roles within the Commission include serving as an Information and Communication Assistant in various units, where Carla provided communication support and advice across different strategic initiatives. Prior to joining the European Commission, Carla held positions at The Linde Group and Gasin, focusing on business process improvement and internal training. Carla holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Internal Communications, an Executive Master in European Public Affairs and Communication, and a Licentiate degree in Advice and Translation from reputable institutions.
