Christiane Kirketerp de Viron has extensive experience in public policy and communication, particularly in the realm of digital society, trust, and cybersecurity. Since November 2006, Christiane has held various positions at the European Commission, currently serving as the Acting Director for Digital Society, Trust and Cybersecurity, and previously as Head of Unit for Cybersecurity and Digital Privacy Policy. Additional roles include serving as a member of the cabinets for Commissioners Johannes Hahn and Carlos Moedas and as a Policy Coordinator. Prior to joining the European Commission, Christiane worked as a Public Affairs Manager at Nicholas Phillips Associates and as a freelance journalist. Academic qualifications include studies at the Université libre de Bruxelles, Københavns Universitet, and Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo.
