Conor McCaffrey

Conor McCaffrey currently serves as an Economic and Policy Analyst at the European Commission, specifically within DG ECFIN D3, focusing on global economic governance since June 2025. Prior to this role, Conor held positions as an Economic and Statistical Analyst in DG ECFIN B1, addressing macroeconomic imbalances. Conor's experience includes a range of research and analytical roles at Bruegel from September 2022 to February 2025, and previous positions at the Vancouver School of Economics, FINN Partners Ireland, the European Parliament, and the Institute of International and European Affairs. Conor holds a Master of Arts in Economics from the Vancouver School of Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Political Science, Economics and Sociology from Trinity College Dublin.
