Fulvio Capurso has extensive experience in various roles related to private sector development and financial instruments. Fulvio has held positions at organizations such as the European Commission, Department for International Development (DFID), and Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. Throughout their career, they have been involved in designing and implementing programs aimed at enhancing SME access to finance, promoting private sector development, and supporting international cooperation and trade. Their expertise includes risk capital, guarantees, loans, and blending activities.

Fulvio Capurso holds a Master's degree in Local Development from STOA Business School, which they obtained from 2002 to 2003. Fulvio also has a degree in Political Sciences, International Policy Sector from the University of Naples, which they obtained from 1993 to 2001. In terms of certifications, they have completed a Credit and Credit Risk Analysis Professional Certificate from the New York Institute of Finance in 2022. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Microfinance and MSME Banking from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, and they are recognized as an International Certified Expert in Micro and SME Finance.
