Imed Zammit

Imed Zammit serves as the Responsable for the "Hub National Blue Economy" under the WestMed Initiative at the European Commission since September 2025 and as a Transport & Logistics Advisor at SRDB LAW FIRM since September 2024. Previously, Zammit was the CEO of CTN - Compagnie Tunisienne de Navigation from November 2020 to May 2023, where notable achievements included developing a strategic plan for 2022-2026, modernizing the fleet and personnel, and implementing a new reservation system leading to financial autonomy. Zammit also held the position of General Director at the Institut Méditerranéen de la formation aux métiers maritimes from December 2015 to October 2021, focusing on the institute's development strategy and partnerships for maritime training initiatives. Prior experience included serving as President Director General at the Office de la Marine Marchande et des ports from May 2014 to December 2015. Zammit graduated as a Capitaine de Première Classe from the Academie Navale Tunisie and is pursuing higher studies in maritime law and international business at the faculté de Droit Aix en Provence.
