Michael Hödlmoser

Michael Hödlmoser is an accomplished technology leader currently serving as CTO and Managing Director at emotion3D since January 2017, where responsibilities include overseeing the development of in-cabin monitoring computer vision solutions for the automotive industry with a team of over 35 engineers. In addition, Michael holds the position of CTO for the European Commission, providing expertise as an evaluator for H2020 research proposals since 2020. Previous experience includes roles as a Technical Project Manager at Siemens and research positions at B&R Industrial Automation and AIT - Austrian Institute of Technology, focusing on 3D reconstruction, thermal imaging, and efficient energy consumption. Michael earned a PhD in Computer Science from Technische Universität Wien, supplemented by a DI(FH) in Information Technology and Systems Management from Fachhochschule Salzburg.
