Michiel Scheffer

Michiel Scheffer is an experienced professional with a strong background in innovation and cultural heritage. Currently serving as President of the Board at the European Innovation Council, Scheffer also holds the position of Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Stichting TexPlus and works as a Partner and Coach at StartUp Nijmegen. Additionally, Scheffer chairs the Steering Committee for the Heritage Deal at the Cultural Heritage Agency of the Netherlands and leads the Committee on Quality Agreements in Secondary Vocational Education at the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science. Michiel Scheffer earned a PhD in Economic Geography from Utrecht University and completed an exchange program in International Economics at The London School of Economics and Political Science.
