Thomas Regnier

Thomas Regnier has extensive experience in communication and public relations, particularly within the European Commission since October 2020, where roles include Spokesperson for Tech Sovereignty, Defence, Space and Research, as well as for the digital economy, research, and innovation. Prior to this, Thomas served as a Communication Officer at Serco's Europe Direct Contact Centre, addressing citizen inquiries about the European Union in multiple languages. Early career stages included a journalism internship at Agence Europe and a position at Goethe-Institut e.V. Thomas holds a Master's degree in Political Science and International Relations and a Bachelor's degree in Translation and Interpretation from Université libre de Bruxelles. Education was completed with a European Baccalaureate from Ecole Européenne de Bruxelles III.
