Theo Acheampong is an experienced consultant and academic specializing in political and business risks in Sub-Saharan Africa. Currently serving as Africa Principal at S&P Global Market Intelligence, Theo also holds positions as a Visiting Fellow at the European Council on Foreign Relations and Associate Lecturer at both the University of Dundee and the University of Aberdeen. Past roles include Senior Visiting Fellow at the Africa Policy Research Institute and consulting roles at PetroConsult Africa and Crystol Energy, among others. Theo's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Aberdeen and is pursuing a Master's degree in Tax Law at the University of Oxford.
