Mark Buxton

Mark Buxton has extensive experience in the fragrance industry. Mark started their career as a Perfumer at Haarman & Reimer in 1992 and later worked at Créations Aromatiques before becoming a Senior Perfumer at Haarmann & Reimer. Mark then joined Symrise as a Senior Perfumer and worked there until 2011. In 2012, they co-founded NOSE, a fragrance company. Mark then served as the Global Creative Director at EUROPEAN FLAVOURS & FRAGRANCES from 2015. Mark later founded their own fragrance brand, Mark Buxton Perfumes, in 2011. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Perfumer at LUZI fragrance compounds.

Mark Buxton attended Ecole de parfumerie Haarman & Reimer from 1987 to 1992, where they studied Parfumerie. Prior to that, they attended Goettingen universität from 1986 to 1987, focusing on Géologie.
